Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pipefitter/Quality Control (QC) specialist, where your expertise will ensure the precise installation, fabrication, and inspection of piping systems across diverse construction and manufacturing projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with skilled professionals in a fast-paced environment, emphasizing safety, craftsmanship, and quality assurance. Your technical skills and attention to detail will be vital in delivering reliable piping solutions that meet industry standards and client specifications. Duties Interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to guide pipefitting and fabrication activities. Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes using hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment in accordance with blueprints and safety protocols. Conduct rigorous quality control inspections on fabricated and installed piping systems, ensuring compliance with NFPA standards and project specifications. Maintain detailed documentation of work processes, inspection reports, and compliance records for all piping installations. Collaborate with construction teams to install compressor stations, facility construction, & pipeline systems on-site. Adhere strictly to safety regulations by utilizing proper PPE, following safety procedures for rigging, tube bending, welding, and power tool operation. Requirements Proven experience in pipefitting within construction or manufacturing environments; familiarity with construction site safety is essential. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints related to plumbing, or pipeline systems. Mechanical knowledge of pipe installation processes such as threading, welding, & flange connections Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for measurements and material estimations. Strong understanding of safety regulations including OSHA guidelines for construction sites. Experience with rigging operations, power tool safety practices, and maintenance of hand tools required for fabrication tasks.
