Job Description
Description Utility workers perform tasks associated with many facets of the construction job site. Responsible for producing high quality work, safely and productively at all times. Looks for opportunities for improvement in all tasks, means and methods regarding the work, and is willing to learn from others. Must learn and understand all safety hazards related to the work and learn to safely and effectively use or operate work-related tools and equipment. Will be required to work in a plant operations or construction jobsite setting. Assisting all crafts with a variety of basic tasks Follow construction plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workers Proper identification, use and care of hand power tools Duties include using, supplying or holding materials or tools Cuts, measures, drills holes in walls, use of pneumatic drill Assists pipefitter to install valves, coupling and other fittings May disassemble and remove damaged or work pipe Follow specific directions; perform a variety of duties which may often change Work with standards of accuracy; repeat tasks of short duration Performing other duties as assigned Complies with all policies and standards Qualifications
