Job Description

Pipelayer / Utilities Build Oklahoma's infrastructure with one of the area's leading heavy civil contractors! Tri-Star Construction is seeking experienced Pipelayers / Utility Crew members for waterline, sanitary sewer, and storm drain heavy civil construction projects.
PAY:
Starting at $18+ / hour, with higher starting pay based on experience and skill level.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Install, position, join, align, seal, and repair water, sewer, and drainage pipe Read grade stakes, measure elevations, establish line and grade, and fine grade as needed Hand dig to safely expose existing utilities Signal equipment operators for proper alignment, movement, and grade Set forms, shoring, scaffolding, and braces as needed Operate hand and power tools used in utility and heavy civil construction Maintain tools and equipment and follow Company and OSHA safety requirements More experienced Pipelayers may also: Read blueprints, plans, schematics, and construction drawings Set site alignment instruments and pipe percentage lasers Calculate flowline percentages
QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of heavy civil construction experience with water, sewer, or drainage work preferred Reliable transportation and excellent attendance Ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a crew Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Outdoor work in all weather conditions Ability to repeatedly lift at least 50 pounds Frequent standing, lifting, carrying, twisting, turning, stooping, bending, and climbing Work around active construction equipment, traffic, dust, asphalt, trenches, and other jobsite conditions Overtime required as needed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required
