OUT OF TOWN TRAVEL REQUIRED
(Monday - Friday) If you're ready to join a dedicated team that values expertise and quality service, apply today to become an Installation Technician at Hiltz Propane Systems! Summary This is a safety-sensitive position. The main objective is the installation of piping systems that connect to a Bulk Storage Propane system. The Installation Technician may weld, operate heavy equipment, drive company vehicles, perform work in confined spaces, work at heights, conduct abrasive blasting, and works in environments containing dust and fumes which require use of Personal Protective Equipment. Responsibilities Perform duties by Cutting, Threading, and Welding to meet the design of the systems we are installing. Repair and maintain tools and equipment. Operate heavy equipment and other construction duties as necessary. Support other areas of the Installation Department as needed, including civil work, tank setting, and tank and pipe painting. Requirements Basic Knowledge of welding, propane and related equipment. Stick welding (SMAW) a plus Completed basic CETP (Certified Employee Training Program) or equivalent propane industry training Strong mechanical knowledge related to propane systems. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately. The ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
