Job Description

Job Overview HM Staffing is seeking a skilled and motivated Pipefitter to join our dynamic construction and manufacturing teams. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems across various projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry codes. Your expertise in pipefitting techniques and technical knowledge will contribute to the successful completion of complex systems that support building infrastructure, industrial processes, and pipeline networks. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble piping systems. Cut, thread, bend, weld, solder, and install pipes using various hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques such as
MIG, FCAW
(Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG welding, and <
LOCATION
> welding. Measure materials precisely with calipers and perform basic math calculations to ensure proper fit and alignment. Fit fire sprinkler systems, HVAC piping, plumbing lines, and pipeline networks according to industry standards like ASME codes & standards. Use rigging equipment to lift and position heavy pipes safely on construction sites or manufacturing facilities. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspection reports and compliance documentation. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times. Qualifications Proven experience in pipefitting within construction sites or manufacturing environments. Proficiency in welding techniques including
MIG, FCAW, TIG
welding; experience with <

> welding preferred. Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately. Mechanical knowledge of pipe threading, tube bending, soldering, and assembly processes. Familiarity with hand tools such as calipers, pipe cutters, threading machines; adept at using power tools safely. Knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing installation, rigging procedures, and pipeline construction standards. Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations. Excellent communication skills with a focus on safety awareness and teamwork.
