Job Description

Condustrial, Inc. is now hiring lead pipefitters to join our team in Columbia, SC. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Lead Pipefitter to join our shutdown team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive expertise in pipefitting, fabrication, and installation across various settings. This role involves interpreting complex blueprints, adhering to safety regulations, and executing precise pipework installations, including fire sprinkler systems and pipeline networks. The successful applicant will contribute to ensuring the integrity, safety, and efficiency of piping systems while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and safety compliance. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately execute pipe installation projects. Primary responsibility will be working on shutdowns to install, assemble, and maintain threaded piping systems Cutting, threading, and joining metal or plastic pipes using specialized hand tools and threading machines Perform pipe threading, soldering, tube bending, and rigging to prepare components for installation. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, assemble, and install piping components on construction sites. Follow all safety regulations and protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Requirements Proven experience as a Journeyman Pipefitter with a strong background in pipefitting, fabrication, installation, and maintenance. Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG, FCAW, Stick welding, TIG welding, and pipe welding. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately. Mechanical knowledge of piping systems such as sprinkler systems, pipelines, and process piping. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on quality workmanship under tight deadlines. Previous experience working shutdowns

M-F:

7a-5:30p (Overtime expected!)

Pay :

$25-$30 (DOE)
