Contract to Hire Skillforce is currently hiring experienced Pipefitters for commercial and industrial projects in Columbia, SC. This position is ideal for skilled pipefitters looking for steady work on a Monday-Thursday schedule with the potential for long-term employment. Responsibilities Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems on commercial and industrial projects Layout and fit pipe according to blueprints, specifications, and project requirements Cut, thread, bevel, and prepare pipe for installation Install valves, fittings, supports, and related piping components Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and piping layouts Perform quality checks to ensure proper fit and installation Follow all jobsite safety procedures and maintain a clean work area Requirements Proven commercial or industrial pipefitting experience Ability to read and interpret blueprints and piping drawings Experience with various pipe, fittings, valves, and related components Ability to use common pipefitting tools and equipment Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check Ability to work 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday If you are a skilled Pipefitter, please apply today! #skilltravel
