What Can You Expect:

This position fits or lays pipe for storm or sanitation sewers, drains, and water mains. May perform any combination of the following tasks, grade trenches or culverts, position pipe, cut pipe and seal joints.

Align and position pipes Heavy Equipment Check slopes for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers Connect pipe pieces and seal joints Cut pipes to required lengths Dig trenches to required depths by hand or using trenching tools Grade and level trench bases using tamping machines and hand tools Install and repair sanitary and storm water sewer structures and pipe systems Layout pipe routes following written instructions or plans and coordinating layouts with Foreman Tap and drill holes into pipes to introduce auxiliary lines or devices Install and use instruments such as lasers, grade rods, and transit levels Signal Operator when setting Please come in to 51 Concourse Way Greer
