As a Stainless Pipe Welding Specialist, you'll turn drawings into durable reality—one accurate, safety-first weld at a time. A day in the role You arrive, review the day's drawings, and plan your sequence. You set up for
GTAW/TIG, SMAW
(stick), or
GMAW/MIG
as the job demands. You fit, tack, and complete precise welds on pipe and fittings, then verify your work—with inspections and tests that prove integrity. Along the way, you keep your work area orderly, collaborate with your crew to hit schedule and budget targets, and jump in to troubleshoot a piping issue when needed. Before you wrap, you note improvements and new techniques worth exploring so you're always sharpening your craft. What you'll do Weld pipe and fittings using MIG, TIG, and stick processes to exacting quality and safety standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan and execute work. Inspect and test welded joints to verify compliance with specifications. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in line with company protocols and regulations. Coordinate with teammates and supervisors to deliver projects on time and within budget. Assist with troubleshooting and repairing piping systems when issues arise. Stay current with welding advancements and industry best practices. What you bring High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training is a plus. Proven experience as a pipe welder with a track record of successful projects. Welding certifications (AWS, ASME) preferred. Deep knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices. Strong blueprint and technical document interpretation skills. Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving ability. Works well independently and in a team environment. Physical stamina and strength to perform in varied environments. Must be able to pass the Monster Coupon test. Need to be able to weld schedule 10 Stainless.
