Industrial New Construction Pipefitter Location:
Austin, TX We are currently hiring an experienced Pipefitter for commercial and industrial new construction projects in the Austin, TX area . This is a local position only and no per diem is available . We are looking for someone dependable, safety-focused, and experienced in installing piping systems from layout to final tie-in. The ideal candidate will be comfortable reading drawings and specifications, working alongside other trades, and helping keep projects on schedule. Pay Range $30.00-$43.00/hour , depending on experience Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair piping systems on commercial and industrial new construction projects Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, isometric drawings, and technical specifications Measure, cut, thread, bevel, fit, and assemble pipe according to project requirements Install valves, fittings, supports, hangers, and related piping components Inspect and test piping systems to ensure proper operation and leak-free performance Coordinate with supervisors, project teams, and other trades to meet production goals and project milestones Follow all company and jobsite safety policies and procedures Maintain tools and equipment and report unsafe conditions or damaged equipment Qualifications 3+ years of commercial and/or industrial pipefitting experience required Must have new construction experience Ability to read and interpret prints, piping drawings, and project specifications Strong knowledge of pipe installation practices and jobsite safety requirements Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to solve problems in the field Able to work independently or as part of a team Job Type Full-time Benefits Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule 8-hour shift 10-hour shift 12-hour shift Monday through Friday Weekends as needed This is a great opportunity for a skilled pipefitter looking for steady local work on commercial and industrial new construction projects in the Austin area.
