Job Description
- This Opportunity
- WSP is seeking a Scheduler to join our growing Project Controls team. This individual can be based out of any WSP office in the Texas Market.
- Who You Are
Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Develop and manage CPM schedules in Primavera P6 across design and construction phases. + Create, update, and analyze execution schedules for concurrent projects. + Develop work breakdown structures (WBS), work packages, and work package activities. + Establish baseline schedules through review of contract requirements, durations, logic, resources, and cost/resource profiles. + Review schedule updates, generate comparison reports, and analyze variances. + Assess schedule issues, scope changes, and delays; provide recommendations for project and executive leadership. + Partner with project teams to identify risks and develop reliable forecasts through completion. + Perform time impact analyses to quantify delay effects. + Support recovery planning and conduct schedule recovery reviews. + Conduct what-if analyses to evaluate schedule alternatives.- Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, project management, or a related field, or equivalent. + 7-10 years of experience in developing and managing CPM project schedules in Primavera. + Power Generation/Gas turbine generation experience is required + Proficiency with Primavera P6. + Advanced knowledge of CPM scheduling principles. + Advanced knowledge of cost and resource loading project schedules. + Experience with contract change order management. + Experience performing Time Impact Analyses. + Project financial forecasting capability. + Experience working with cross-functional teams. + Experience with large and complex client programs involving one or more project teams. + Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-ready reporting. + Building construction or project management experience. + Strong teamwork and communication skills.- About WSP
