Job Description

Description:

Pipefitters needed for a fabrication shop job in Baytown, TX starting August 31.

Job Length:

4-6 weeks

Hours:

50-70 hours/week

Key Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, thread, groove, and bend pipe Lay out and fabricate piping systems based on drawings and specifications Assemble pipe spools, supports, and components in the shop Fit and align piping for welding and mechanical connections Inspect and verify fit-up, measurements, and quality of fabricated parts Read and interpret isometric drawings, spool sheets, and blueprints Follow all shop safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements:

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED Minimum 3 years of pipefitting experience (fabrication/shop experience preferred) Apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience preferred Knowledge of industry standards (ASME, ANSI, API) Ability to read blueprints and perform precise layout work

Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Must pass required drug/alcohol screening
