Journeyman Pipefitters Pay:
$35.00 per hour.
Sign-on bonus:
$2,500.

Location:
Dallas VA Medical Center, 4500 S. Lancaster Rd, Dallas, TX 75216
Schedule:
Not to exceed 40 hours per week, between 7:30AM-4:00PM. Job Summary This requirement is to provide pipefitter for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of plumbing, steam, gas, and medical facility systems, including water distribution, drainage, sterilizers, laundry and dietetic equipment, steam systems, and medical gases. The employee must be a journeyman pipefitter with at least four (4) years of experience, capable of reading blueprints and following standard codes and safety practices. Work is assigned by a foreman but carried out independently with occasional spot checks, and the employee may supervise helpers when needed. The job requires frequent physical exertion—standing, bending, and working in cramped areas—with exposure to cuts, bruises, odors, and infectious risks. Duties are performed both indoors and outdoors, including in basements, kitchens, and manholes.
Qualifications:
OSHA Certification. Texas state plumbers/pipefitters license. Experience in painting.
