• 4:30 PM Hiring Multiple Journeyman Pipefitters We are seeking experienced Journeyman Pipefitters to support operations at the North Texas VA Medical Center in Dallas, TX.

This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide variety of piping systems supporting hospital and medical facility operations. This is an excellent opportunity for skilled pipefitters seeking stable, full-time work on a federal facility with consistent daytime hours and no weekend requirements. Responsibilities Install, maintain, repair, and modify plumbing and piping systems. Work with water distribution, drainage, sanitary, steam, gas, and medical gas systems. Maintain and repair sterilizers, laundry equipment, kitchen and dietetic equipment, and steam-related systems. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and technical drawings. Troubleshoot piping and mechanical system issues. Follow applicable plumbing codes, safety regulations, and OSHA standards. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance. Work independently with minimal supervision. Coordinate and oversee helpers or apprentices when assigned. Maintain a safe and professional work environment. QualificationsRequired Minimum 2-3 years of Journeyman Pipefitter experience (4+ years preferred). Active Texas State Plumber/Pipefitter License . Current OSHA Certification . Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Experience with commercial, industrial, healthcare, institutional, or government facilities. Ability to work independently and safely. Ability to pass all site access and onboarding requirements. Preferred Hospital, VA, healthcare, or institutional facility experience. Experience working with steam systems and medical gas systems. Experience on federal or government projects.

Physical Requirements This position requires:

Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting throughout the workday. Working in tight spaces, mechanical rooms, tunnels, basements, and utility chases. Working both indoors and outdoors. Exposure to typical construction and maintenance hazards. Use of required PPE and adherence to all safety protocols.
