Full Job Description Journeyman Pipefitter Location:
Dallas, TX Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Job Description We are seeking experienced Journeyman Pipefitters to install, maintain, and repair a wide range of plumbing, steam, gas, and medical facility systems. Responsibilities include working with water distribution, drainage systems, sterilizers, laundry and dietetic equipment, steam systems, medical gases, and related piping systems. Candidates must be able to read blueprints, follow applicable codes and safety practices, and work independently with minimal supervision. The position may also involve supervising helpers when required. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair plumbing, steam, gas, and medical gas systems. Work on water distribution and drainage systems. Install and maintain piping associated with sterilizers, laundry, and dietetic equipment. Work with steam systems and related equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Follow applicable plumbing codes, safety procedures, and industry standards. Perform work independently while coordinating with supervisors and other trades. Assist with or supervise helpers as needed. Work in various environments, including basements, kitchens, mechanical areas, and confined spaces. Perform both indoor and outdoor work as required. Physical Requirements The position requires frequent physical activity, including: Standing, bending, kneeling, and working in confined or cramped areas. Handling tools, equipment, and piping materials. Working in areas where exposure to cuts, bruises, odors, and potential infectious risks may occur. Performing duties in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments. Required Qualifications Minimum 4 years of Journeyman Pipefitter experience . Active Texas state plumbing/pipefitting license . OSHA certification . Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Knowledge of applicable plumbing, piping, and safety codes. Ability to work independently and follow established safety procedures.
