Pipefitter — Commercial Mechanical Construction Houston, TX | $30-$35/hr | Full-Time | Direct Hire For You If you are an experienced Pipefitter looking for steady, local commercial construction work in Houston, this is an opportunity to join an established mechanical contractor with long-term project opportunities. $30-$35 per hour Full-time, direct-hire position Monday-Friday, first shift Local Houston-area projects No overnight travel Overtime opportunities based on project needs What You Will Do Install, assemble, fit, and support piping systems on commercial mechanical construction projects Read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications Measure, lay out, cut, prepare, and fit pipe and related components Install piping, fittings, valves, hangers, and supports Verify measurements, elevations, alignment, and fit Coordinate with Foremen and other field personnel to keep projects moving safely and efficiently Identify field conflicts and communicate installation issues to field leadership What We Are Seeking 3+ years of pipefitting experience Mechanical contractor experience required Commercial construction experience Ability to read construction drawings and piping plans Strong pipe layout, measurement, fitting, and installation skills Knowledge of common pipefitting tools, materials, fittings, and installation practices Dependable, safety-conscious, and committed to quality workmanship Why Join Us Join Comfort Systems USA - South Central , a leading commercial mechanical contractor supporting construction projects throughout the Houston market.
