Job Duties:
Weld and fabricate hydronic HVAC piping systems Fit, cut, bevel, weld, and install carbon steel and stainless-steel pipe. Install piping associated with chillers, boilers, pumps, cooling towers, and other HVAC equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, specifications, and piping layouts. Install and connect valves, fittings, flanges, supports, and related piping components. Measure and lay out piping to ensure proper alignment, elevation, and equipment connections. Inspect completed welds and piping for quality, leaks, and proper installation. Coordinate with pipefitters, HVAC technicians, foremen, and other trades on commercial projects. Follow all company and jobsite safety procedures, welding requirements, and quality standards. Maintain welding equipment, tools, and assigned work areas. Assist with system modifications, repairs, equipment replacements, and retrofit projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of HVAC welding experience Welding test passing score Able to pass a background check and a drug screening
