Position Summary We are seeking a Journeyman Pipefitter / Steamfitter for semiconductor tool hook-up and facility expansion projects involving process gas, chemical distribution, ultrapure water (UPW), and cleanroom utilities. Candidates should have experience in biochemical or semiconductor facilities and be able to work independently while meeting safety and quality standards and demanding project schedules. Key Responsibilities Install, fabricate, fit, and assemble process, utility, low-purity, and high-purity piping systems. Read and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), isometric drawings, spool sheets, and construction specifications. Perform precision layout, fit-up, and installation of stainless steel tubing, polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), polypropylene (PP), and CPVC piping systems. Perform precision tube bending and tubing fabrication in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. Install piping systems for process gas, chemical distribution, UPW, and other facility utilities. Support equipment setting, semiconductor tool hook-up, and mechanical system installations. Assist with pressure testing, flushing, system turnover, startup, and commissioning. Follow project quality standards, cleanroom protocols, and site safety requirements. Coordinate with other trades and project teams to meet productivity goals and schedule commitments. Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and accountability in all assigned work. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of pipefitting or steamfitting experience, with journeyman-level skills in process and utility piping installation and fabrication. Experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food processing, or comparable advanced manufacturing facilities. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications and perform accurate layout and fit-up. Experience with stainless steel tubing and PVDF, PP, and CPVC piping systems. Proficiency in precision tube bending and tubing fabrication. Knowledge of high-purity piping practices, contamination control, and cleanroom work requirements. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with other trades. Strong commitment to safe work practices, quality workmanship, and meeting project schedules.
