Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides services required for installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems of University Health System (the Health System) buildings and facilities. Performs assigned duties promptly and proficiently. Complies with the Health System and departmental policies and procedures.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
High school graduation or equivalent and Texas Tradesman Plumber-Limited License is required. Four years' experience as a plumber is required. Aforementioned experience is preferably gained in a hospital setting. General Knowledge of high pressure steam and steam repair Reading, interpreting and applying plans, specifications, blueprints, schematics, codes and work orders. The ability to weld and cut pipe under direct supervision or independently.LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION A
valid Texas State driver's license "Class C" and must maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Record and insurable by the Health System.Benefits
