Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Septic Installer and become a vital part of constructing reliable wastewater and sanitation systems that serve communities and commercial projects alike. In this role, you will be responsible for installing septic systems, sanitary drainage, and underground utilities with precision and safety at the forefront. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, pipe installation, and blueprint interpretation will ensure each project meets strict standards and client expectations. This is an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your skills to deliver essential infrastructure solutions efficiently and safely. Duties Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, and Skid Steer to excavate trenches and prepare sites for septic system installation. Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately follow specifications for sewer lines, water supply systems, stormwater systems, and utility trenching projects. Install underground utilities including sanitary sewers, Electric services, water supply lines, and wastewater systems according to blueprint specifications. Use utility locating tools and pipe lasers to ensure precise placement of pipes and underground utilities while adhering to safety regulations. Perform construction trenching activities while following federal construction safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all team members. Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including OSHA standards and site-specific safety regulations, ensuring compliance throughout all phases of installation projects. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, and Skid Steer to excavate trenches and prepare sites for septic system installation. Strong knowledge of wastewater systems, sanitary drainage systems, sewer line installation, underground utilities installation, and pipeline construction. Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, construction plans, and utility trenching specifications. Familiarity with utility locating methods and tools to prevent damage during excavation activities. Ability to perform construction trenching safely while following federal safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols. Experience with pipe installation techniques using pipe lasers or other precision tools for accurate alignment. Excellent hand tool skills combined with experience working on construction sites involving underground utilities installation projects.

Pay:
$18.00 - $23.50 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 50.0 per week Application Question(s): Experience in septic installation or service? Ability to operate Excavator Ability to operate a skid steer Pass a drug test? Do you know how to operate a shovel or rake as needed?
