Job Description

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Structural Steel Tradesperson, Millwright, Welder, and Pipefitter Helper! In this multifaceted role, you will be at the forefront of construction and maintenance projects, utilizing your expertise in welding, pipefitting, assembly, and fabrication to build and repair complex steel structures. Your hands-on skills will ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Temporary / Contract, full-time
Schedule:
6 days/week, 10 hours/day (approx. 7:00 AM-5:30 PM, Mon-Sat)
Pay:
$22.00-27.00/hr + $175/day per diem; hotel provided initially Responsibilities Use hand tools and power tools safely for cutting, grinding, threading pipes, and fabricating steel structures Assist with pipe threading, soldering, pipe welding, and assembly to ensure precise fitting and alignment of piping systems Follow safety regulations and protocols diligently while working on construction sites to maintain a safe work environment Assemble, position, and erect structural steel and large metal components Perform millwright, welding, and/or pipefitting tasks as assigned to the trade Rig, hoist, and move heavy materials safely Read and follow layouts, prints, and direction from the crew lead Maintain a clean, safe worksite and follow all site safety protocols requirements Proven experience in construction or industrial settings involving structural steel work, pipefitting, or welding Mechanical knowledge of piping systems including installation of sprinkler systems and fire protection equipment Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocol adherence and efficient teamwork Requirements Experience as a millwright, welder, or pipefitter, or mechanical willingness to learn Perform physically demanding work: heavy lifting, climbing, working at heights outdoors Reliable attendance and punctuality (6-day schedule) Moderate English for taking direction and following safety instructions Steel-toe boots required; able to pass background check and drug screen OSHA 10 and own hand tools a plus Join us in building reliable structures while advancing your skills in a supportive environment that values safety, craftsmanship, and professional growth.
