Job Description

As we continue expanding across the Mid-Atlantic region, we're looking for skilled and dependable Pipe Layers to join our field teams and help deliver high-quality underground utility projects. Job Summary As a Pipe Layer, you'll be hands-on in the field installing underground utilities to spec, working alongside equipment operators, labor crews, and site supervisors. Duties & Responsibilities Lay and align water, sewer, and storm drain pipes Confirm trench grades using lasers, grade rods, and levels Connect and seal joints using approved materials and methods Excavate and backfill trenches safely around existing utilities Assist Operators and Laborers during trench and pipe installation Perform general labor and site cleanup as required Follow instructions from Foreman / Superintendent and work as a team Qualifications 2+ years of experience in underground utilities or civil site construction (required) Ability to read grades and understand slope requirements Comfortable working in trenches (15-20 ft depth) and outdoor conditions Good communication and teamwork skills Able to use hand tools, compactors, and trench safety equipment Physically able to lift, carry, dig, and perform manual labor tasks Posses a valid driver's license Knowledge of construction safety practices English or Spanish - Spanish speaking strongly welcome Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform essential job functions.
