In this role, you will work in various industrial settings. The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills. Responsibilities Review and comprehend CADD drawings and diagrams, blueprints, sketches, fabrication drawings and submittals for projects Fabricate and install piping without drawings to reference (field route) Layout work ahead of welders Measure, cut, weld, assemble, and install pipes Use a variety of hand and power tools Work with other construction professionals to complete projects Follow all safety guidelines Complete all tasks in a timely matter Employment requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Pipefitter High School Diploma or equivalent (experience may be substituted for education) Legally eligible to work in the United States Possess current, valid driver's license (not under suspension or limitation) Have the transportation means to report to multiple job sites as assigned Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests throughout employment Job qualifications Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written) Knowledge of how mechanical equipment works Strong arithmetic skills, including calculating complex offsets Knowledge of all relevant health and safety guidelines Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting heavy objects and withstanding temperature extremes found in boilers, paper machines, manufacturing facilities, etc. Ability to work Monday-Friday with occasional overtime during afternoons, evenings and weekends as needed Benefits/Compensation Benefits available after 90-day probationary period Competitive pay based on experience and capabilities
