Job Description
Job Summary We are looking to hire a heavy equipment operator/pipe layer for part or full time basis on a residential construction scale. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks. Install underground utilities including sanitary sewers, water supply lines, and stormwater systems according to construction plans and blueprints. Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Use utility locating tools and techniques. Perform construction trenching while adhering to safety regulations and project timelines. Follow all federal construction safety regulations and company safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment at all times. Skills Proficient use in heavy equipment operation including dozer, loader, backhoe, excavator, and front loader truck. Knowledge to conduct routine maintenance and small repairs. (preferred) Pipe installation. (preferred) Residential foundation preparation work. (preferred) Knowledge of wastewater systems, sanitary drainage systems, sewer line installation, and underground utility systems. (preferred)
