Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Helper to join our team. In this vital role, you will assist skilled tradespeople in various activities, ensuring projects progress smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Support crews by preparing work sites, materials, and organizing tools and equipment Assist with pipe installation, plumbing system maintenance, and repair tasks under supervision Operate and safely to aid in cutting, threading, and fitting pipes or other materials Read and interpret basic schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints to understand project requirements Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure work environment for all team members Help with welding tasks and mechanical work as needed on-site Maintain cleanliness of the work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use Requirements Prior experience or hands-on handyman experience preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential Knowledge of plumbing, pipe threading, welding, and blueprint reading is a plus Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety procedures related to sites Basic math skills for measurements and involved in installation tasks Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately Good physical stamina with the ability to stand, lift heavy materials, and perform manual labor throughout the day Strong commitment to safety protocol and building code compliance Excellent customer service attitude when interacting with team members or clients on-site
