1st shift Direct Hire Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Pipefitter to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and testing gas, oil, air, and water piping systems used in complex industrial oven equipment. Working closely with Engineering and Production, you will ensure piping systems are installed accurately, safely, and efficiently while meeting quality standards and project specifications. Key Responsibilities Install, assemble, and route gas, oil, air, and water piping systems according to blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings. Measure, cut, thread, fit, and install pipe, valves, fittings, gauges, and related components. Operate pipe threading and cutting equipment while ensuring proper pipe preparation and sealing. Perform TIG, MIG, black iron, and stainless steel welding as required. Participate in equipment layout and collaborate with Engineering and Electrical teams throughout projects. Assist with testing completed systems and equipment to verify proper operation. Document project progress, modifications, and installation details for future reference. Coordinate work assignments to maximize productivity and meet production schedules. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Stay current on industry practices through ongoing training and professional development. Qualifications Journeyman Pipefitter certification or equivalent experience preferred. Minimum of five years of pipefitting experience in a manufacturing environment. At least three years of experience working with heat processing or industrial thermal equipment preferred. Certified welder with experience in TIG, MIG, black iron, and stainless steel welding. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, piping diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation. Experience operating pipe-cutting, threading, and fabrication equipment. Solid mathematical and measurement skills. Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Why Join Us?
