Job Description
Pipefitter - Oil & Gas Construction Blue and Gold Contracting LLC is seeking experienced Pipefitters for oil and gas construction projects throughout West Virginia. We are looking for dependable individuals who take pride in their work, understand industrial piping systems, and are comfortable working in an active construction environment. Responsibilities Measure, cut, fit, align, and assemble piping systems Install pipe, fittings, valves, flanges, and related components Read and interpret drawings, measurements, and job specifications Assist with fabrication and installation of piping assemblies Bolt and align flanges and piping components Perform accurate measurements and layouts Work closely with welders, supervisors, equipment operators, and laborers Inspect completed work for proper fit and alignment Follow company and customer safety procedures Maintain tools and work areas Assist with other job-site activities when needed Qualifications Previous pipefitting experience preferred Oil and gas, pipeline, industrial, or similar construction experience is strongly preferred Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction measurements Ability to read and understand drawings is preferred Knowledge of piping, fittings, valves, and flanges Ability to safely use hand and power tools Dependable transportation and attendance Valid driver's license preferred Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Must be able to lift and handle construction materials Ability to work overtime when required Willingness to travel to job sites as needed What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Full-time employment Opportunities for overtime Benefits available to eligible employees Opportunity for advancement Steady work with an established oil and gas construction company
