Welder - Oil & Gas Construction Blue and Gold Contracting LLC is seeking experienced Welders for oil and gas construction projects throughout West Virginia. We are looking for dependable, safety-focused welders who take pride in producing quality work and can perform in an active field construction environment. Responsibilities Perform welding on pipe, fittings, flanges, and other components Complete welds according to project specifications and applicable procedures Read and understand drawings, measurements, and job requirements Work closely with pipefitters, supervisors, equipment operators, and laborers Inspect weld areas and completed work for quality Prepare pipe and materials for welding as needed Use welding equipment, grinders, torches, and other tools safely Follow all company, customer, and job-site safety requirements Maintain welding equipment and keep work areas clean and organized Assist with fabrication and other construction-related duties when needed Qualifications Previous welding experience required Oil and gas, pipeline, industrial, or similar construction welding experience preferred Ability to pass required weld tests or qualifications as required by the project Knowledge of pipe welding and common welding procedures Ability to read and understand drawings and job specifications Ability to safely operate welding and fabrication equipment Strong attention to quality and workmanship Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to work overtime when required Willingness to travel to job sites as needed Valid driver's license preferred What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications Full-time employment Opportunities for overtime Benefits available to eligible employees Steady work in the oil and gas construction industry Opportunity for advancement within the company
