Job Description

This position is located at Wheeling Longwall & Rebuild, Inc in Wheeling, WV. We are seeking hard working, motivated individuals. If you are interested in pursuing a career with great potential, we want you! Seeking motivated individuals to repair and fabricate mining equipment and machinery.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Weekly visual inspections Performing routine and preventative maintenance to equipment Welding knowledge/skill Mechanically inclined Reads/interprets equipment manuals/work orders Conducts troubleshooting and problem solving Basic knowledge in reading of blueprints General fabrication and layout abilities Follows instructions under the leadership of the Crew Lead to ensure all aspects of the job are covered to avoid any time-consuming delays as well as hazard and/or task training that may be required before the task begins Ensures equipment is maintained in proper working order to avoid injury and work areas are kept clean/free of hazards which may endanger the health/safety of any employee Performs work according to instructions to ensure quality and satisfaction is achieved. Applicants must be experienced in welding/torching/cutting and have the ability to safely perform tasks Experience One to three (1-3) years of welding experience CAD experience is preferred, but not required Job Requirements Must be 18 years of age High School Diploma or GED, preferred Trade school certifications or any form of advanced education allow for a possible higher starting salary Reliable transportation Valid drivers license Regular and punctual attendance Compliance with company policies, procedures and safety standards Knowledge of OSHA requirements Must be able to successfully complete industry approved training courses Must be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independently Must be able to successfully pass a post offer drug test and background check Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship
JOB SCHEDULE AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS
