Duties Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of pipelines and pumping systems on oil rigs and construction sites Perform rigging tasks to set up heavy equipment and piping components safely and efficiently Operate heavy machinery such as cranes, forklifts, and other equipment necessary for pipe fitting and site preparation Troubleshoot mechanical issues with equipment, pumps, or piping systems to ensure continuous operation Manage crew activities by supporting team members in completing tasks safely and effectively Follow all safety protocols including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respiratory protection and OSHA standards Conduct outdoor work in various weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards and environmental awareness Qualifications Prior experience working on oil rigs, construction sites, or in outdoor industrial environments is highly preferred Knowledge of pipeline installation, horizontal drilling techniques, and pumping systems is a strong asset Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and effectively Experience operating heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, or other machinery used in pipe fitting or rigging Valid commercial truck driving license is a plus for transporting materials or equipment between sites Familiarity with safety protocols including OSHA regulations, PPE use, respiratory protection, and site safety procedures Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining physical stamina and attention to detail This role is perfect for proactive individuals who are eager to learn new skills in the oil & gas industry while contributing to large-scale projects.
