Key Accountabilities Responsible for
ONE-CALL
response, documentation and record keeping to ensure compliance with
ONE-CALL
Law. Has knowledge and experience in underground line locating and mapping of underground utilities. Conducts surveys for new pipeline and power line. Leads the safety effort to ensure all excavation work in and around the COP pipelines is performed as per established procedures to protect the health and well being of personnel's involved in the work. Performs line locating as per
ONE-CALL
requests and in accordance with the line-finding procedures. Ensures COP pipeline maps are maintained and are readily available. Ensures the implementation of safety & environmental procedures and in compliance with regulations and policies. Installs/Stakes out and maps locations using GPS systems. Ensures line Locators (one Call) are dispatched to sweep, mark, and maps underground utilities prior to excavation. Required and Preferred Skills and Experience Experienced level, typically 5-7 years of experience. Requires a strong understanding of discipline. Able to apply knowledge and experience to complex problems and develop recommendations. Makes decisions within broad parameters. Acts as an informal resource for others with less experience.
