Job Description
Job Summary The Saltwater Disposal Operator position will be responsible for overall daily operation and maintenance of saltwater disposal facilities, as well as all related equipment near New Town and Watford City ND. Duties/Responsibilities Responsible for operating and maintaining saltwater-gathering pipeline and disposal Required to perform routine maintenance to pumps, tanks, vessels and related equipment Responsible for monitoring daily inlet and injection data to ensure a continuity of disposal service Coordinate and oversee truck and pipeline inlet operations Monitor drivers for proper procedures and the use of personal protection equipment Must monitor and respond as needed to operational SCADA alarms Both in the field and at the saltwater disposal facility Responsible for always keeping facility clean and functional Repair and replace saltwater pipeline equipment and related equipment as time allows Ensure that daily operations are following federal and state environmental regulations Ensuring security of the area Demonstrates compliance with company HSE policies and demonstrates safe and ethical behavior Ability to recognize preventative maintenance needing preformed Reporting safety, environmental, and any other out of scope issues to management. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Takes pride in personal appearance and the appearance of their location, equipment and vehicles Willingness to assist or ask for assistance as needed with manager and team member duties Ability to function in a team atmosphere Proficient computer skills Required Qualifications High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) Valid Driver's License Ability to work all shifts. 6 am to 6 pm or 6 pm to 6 am. Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening Driving record must be clean Physical Requirements Ability to stoop, stand, walk, pull, carry instruments, and climb stairs for extended period Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs. Ability to work overhead for extended periods of time Ability to perform fine manipulations with hands and fingers Capable of driving distances of 150 miles or more per day during all types of weather conditions Ability to one arm carry up to 25lbs. without assistance Regular bending, crouching, pulling and kneeling to check equipment and gauges Must be able to exert up to 50lbs. of force occasionally and up to 20lbs. frequently to move or manipulate objects Ability to work significant amounts of time as required in completing job responsibilities
