Pipeline Technician - Pigger

Job Summary:
The Pipeline Technician is responsible for inspecting and maintaining pipelines, launchers and receivers. Duties include cleaning debris and accumulated liquids, conducting inspections, and removing residual product from the pipeline between product transfer operations.
Essential Functions:
1. Launching, receiving and inspecting pigs. 2. Maintenance of launchers and receivers. 3. Driving designated routes according to customer requirements. 4. Become familiar with or learn customer programs as specified. 5. Complete field operations in accordance with ROC Service Company EHS policies and procedures. 6. Become familiar with general oil and gas construction and maintenance. 7. Maintain good interpersonal and customer relationships. 8. Become familiar with hand tools required for general construction and general maintenance jobs. 9. Make certain that all required personal protective equipment is being used. 10. Ensure all JSEA's are completed at the beginning of each shift change out and that a JSEA will be completed when the job scope changes. 11. Ensure that all procedures are followed to avoid accidents, damage to equipment, and harm to the environment or any other personnel. 12. Immediately report all incidents to the EHS group. 13. Perform any other labor functions as directed.
Basic Qualifications/Educational/Experience Requirements:
Valid driver's license and ability to drive a company vehicle if necessary. Strong computer/technology skills. Willingness to learn customer portals and technology requirements. Confined space certification if necessary (training will be provided). Preferred experience in gas processing facility work, production facility work, or manufacturing environment. Willingness to adapt and be a team player in various environments and situations (service environment). Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and work well in a fast paced, evolving organization. Willing/able to work in all weather conditions. Self-motivated and able to remain productive without immediate supervision present.
