Technicians are expected to be on the road consistently.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Obtain project assignments from Project Crew Lead. Be available to work at assigned schedule times with all required personal protective equipment (PPE), and equipment in working order. Perform project assignments in accordance with all TIR procedures, safety policies, and in a professional manner. Complete weekly time reporting by Sunday at noon CT. Treat work equipment and materials with care to prevent damage. Assist in tracking in-line inspection tools using geophone, 22Hz receivers, and Hz, and AGM marker boxes, staking AGMs. When not assigned to a project, communicate with Supervisor and/or TIR Scheduling personnel on a regular basis.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
No minimum experience (On the job training).
NCCER OQ
Training. Knowledgeable of company policies and procedures. Professional oral and written communication skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS
External - Work is normally performed in a field environment with exposure to various weather conditions (100%).
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work involves standing and walking for brief periods of time, but most duties are performed from a seated position. Work normally requires finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate a computer keyboard at moderate skill level.
