Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Pipeline Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical and mechanical working knowledge of all midstream infrastructure equipment. This position involves overseeing the operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of pipeline systems to ensure safe and efficient functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections and maintenance on midstream infrastructure equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to LACT (Lease Automatic Custody Transfer) proving, SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, and telemetry. Conduct low voltage electrical troubleshooting, including identifying and rectifying electrical issues in pipeline systems. Demonstrate proficiency in computer software applications used for monitoring and controlling pipeline operations. Address meter, transmitter, and telemetry issues promptly to minimize operational downtime. Utilize a basic understanding of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) program logic, PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) loops, control narratives, and cause and effect matrices. Collaborate with team members to maintain operational efficiency and implement best practices in pipeline management. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system performance.Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
LACT Proving:
Understanding of Lease Automatic Custody Transfer systems and the ability to perform proving procedures.SCADA Troubleshooting:
Proficient in diagnosing and resolving SCADA system issues to ensure reliable operation.Low Voltage Electrical Knowledge:
Strong ability to troubleshoot low voltage electrical systems and components effectively.Computer Software Proficiency:
Demonstrated proficiency in relevant computer software for pipeline management and data analysis.Telemetry and Meter Issues:
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve telemetry, meter, and transmitter issues efficiently.Basic PLC Understanding:
Familiarity with PLC program logic, PID loops, control narratives, and cause and effect matrices is essential.Technical and Mechanical Knowledge:
