Role Description The ILI Field Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Houston area. This position is responsible for preparing, deploying, and operating in-line inspection tools in pipeline environments, following established procedures and safety standards. Daily activities include equipment setup and calibration, assisting with site readiness, performing pre- and post-run checks, and supporting data collection and transfer for analysis. The technician collaborates with project engineers, operations teams, and customers at field locations, documenting work performed and ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements. The role requires regular travel to field sites, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in varying outdoor conditions and physically demanding environments. Qualifications Technical aptitude in mechanical and electrical systems, with the ability to learn and operate specialized ILI tools and related equipment. Experience working in field operations, oil and gas, pipeline, or industrial environments, including adherence to strict safety procedures. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and basic diagnostic skills for addressing equipment and operational issues in the field. Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary crews and interact professionally with clients. Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting equipment, working in confined spaces, and operating in varying weather conditions. Comfort with documentation and basic digital tools, such as recording field data, completing reports, and using laptops or tablets. Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently to on-site locations within the Greater Houston area and other regions as needed. High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certificate or vocational training in a relevant field (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation) is preferred. Previous experience in pipeline inspection, ILI, or related integrity services is an advantage.

$25.00 - $33.00 per hour
