Overview Join our dynamic team as a Painting and Cleaning Specialist, where your craftsmanship and attention to detail will transform spaces and uphold the highest standards of cleanliness. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and renovation sites. You will be instrumental in preparing surfaces, applying paint with precision, and maintaining pristine environments that meet safety and quality benchmarks. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Execute painting tasks using hand tools, power tools, airless paint sprayers, and other equipment to achieve smooth, even finishes on walls, ceilings, trim, stucco, masonry, and industrial surfaces. Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine project scope, color schemes based on color theory principles, and specific application techniques. Perform construction painting on residential and commercial buildings during renovation or restoration projects while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and debris removal to maintain a safe work environment. Install fixtures and perform minor carpentry tasks like trim carpentry or frame carpentry as needed for finishing touches. Assist with maintenance tasks on construction sites including concrete finishing, masonry repairs, welding prep, or handyman services to support overall project progress. Requirements Proven experience in construction painting with knowledge of both residential and commercial applications. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and reading blueprints or schematics. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and airless paint spraying equipment. Knowledge of color theory to ensure accurate color matching and aesthetic consistency. Experience with plastering, caulking, stucco application, restoration work, and renovation projects. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics related to construction painting projects. Strong understanding of construction site safety practices and ability to work effectively within a team environment. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to project specifications.
