Full-Time Position Summary Manzo Plastering is seeking a skilled and reliable Plasterer responsible for the application of traditional three-coat stucco systems and specialty plaster finishes on residential and commercial projects. The Plasterer applies scratch, brown, and finish coats to properly prepared lath substrates, ensuring high-quality workmanship, structural durability, and aesthetic consistency. This position requires experience with stucco materials, proper mixing and application techniques, and the ability to produce uniform finishes that meet company standards and project specifications. Primary Responsibilities Apply three-coat stucco system , including scratch coat, brown coat, and finish coat Mix plaster materials to proper consistency using mixers or mechanical equipment Apply scratch coat to metal lath and properly score for bonding Apply brown coat to achieve straight, plumb, and level surfaces Apply finish coats including sand finish, dash finish, or other specified textures Work with acrylic finishes and specialty coatings when required Ensure proper curing procedures between coats Maintain consistent texture and color across wall surfaces Coordinate work with lathing crew to ensure surfaces are properly prepared Repair and patch stucco surfaces as needed Protect surrounding areas through proper masking and jobsite preparation Maintain clean tools, equipment, and work areas Follow project schedules and foreman direction Comply with OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum 3 years experience in stucco plastering Experience applying scratch, brown, and finish coats Ability to produce consistent sand float and other textures Knowledge of traditional cement stucco and acrylic finishes Ability to use hawk, trowel, darby, rod, and plastering tools Ability to read construction plans and elevations Experience working from scaffolding or elevated platforms Strong attention to detail and quality control Reliable transportation Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work outdoors Preferred Qualifications Experience with integral color stucco systems Experience with crack isolation systems and fiberglass mesh Knowledge of EIFS or acrylic stucco systems Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Frequent lifting, bending, and reaching Work at heights using scaffolding Work in outdoor conditions including heat, cold, and wind Performance Expectations Produce high-quality stucco finishes with minimal corrections Maintain consistent texture and appearance across surfaces Complete assigned work within project timelines Follow foreman instructions and company procedures Maintain professionalism and teamwork on the jobsite Protect Manzo Plastering's reputation through quality craftsmanship Compensation Hourly wage based on experience Overtime opportunities Opportunities for advancement within
