Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Painter, where you will bring spaces to life through expert application of paint and finishes. This energetic role involves transforming residential, commercial, and industrial environments by utilizing your skilled craftsmanship and attention to detail. As a key contributor, you will work on diverse projects, from renovation and restoration to new construction, ensuring high-quality results that enhance the aesthetic and value of each space. Your expertise in various painting techniques and surface preparation will help us deliver outstanding service to our clients. Duties Prepare surfaces meticulously by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and specialty coatings using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless paint spraying), and power tools. Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine project scope, color schemes based on color theory, and specific finish requirements. Execute residential painting projects including interior walls, ceilings, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and remodeling tasks with precision. Perform commercial and industrial painting tasks on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols and project timelines. Conduct surface repairs like masonry work, stucco application, concrete finishing, welding (where applicable), and masonry restoration to ensure smooth finishes. Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project materials and time requirements accurately for efficient job completion. Assist with renovation projects by performing carpentry tasks such as framing or trim carpentry as needed for seamless finishes. Maintain a clean work environment by properly handling waste disposal of paint materials and ensuring tools are well-maintained for ongoing use. Experience Proven experience in residential painting with a strong understanding of color theory and surface preparation techniques. Hands-on experience with construction painting across commercial or industrial sites; familiarity with construction site safety standards is essential. Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, or technical drawings related to renovation or remodeling projects. Knowledge of plastering, caulking, stucco application, drywall finishing, and fixture installation enhances project versatility. Experience operating hand tools such as brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless systems), power tools, and welding equipment when necessary. Background in construction estimating, basic math skills for measuring surfaces accurately, and understanding schematics for precise project execution. Familiarity with maintenance tasks on construction sites including handyman repairs or restoration work is a plus. Ability to adapt quickly to different environments while maintaining high standards of quality and safety on every project.
