Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying necessary primers to ensure optimal stucco adhesion. Mix and apply stucco materials accurately according to project specifications and technical drawings. Assist with the installation of rebar and metal lath to reinforce stucco applications. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for mixing, troweling, and finishing stucco surfaces. Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings to follow project requirements precisely. Support masonry work including bricklaying, stone masonry, and concrete finishing as needed on site. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris properly, and adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Previous construction experience with a focus on masonry, plastering, or stucco work preferred. Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Hands-on experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, drywall installation, and heavy equipment operation is a plus. Familiarity with building materials such as mortar, concrete, stone, brick, and related masonry supplies. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely while maintaining high-quality standards. Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites to ensure a secure working environment.
