Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hardscape Installer to join our dynamic landscaping team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing durable and aesthetically pleasing outdoor hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other masonry elements. Your expertise will help transform outdoor spaces into functional and beautiful environments, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about outdoor construction, masonry, and hardscaping projects who thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Responsibilities Interpret construction plans and technical drawings to accurately execute hardscape installation projects. Prepare job sites by setting up forms, grading surfaces, and ensuring proper foundation work for various hardscape elements. Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely and effectively to install pavers, stonework, brickwork, stucco, caulking, and other building materials. Manage the installation of masonry features including retaining walls, fire pits, steps, and decorative stonework with precision. Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to safety protocols and construction standards throughout all phases of the project. Conduct quality inspections during installation to ensure materials are correctly placed and finished according to specifications. Skills Extensive experience in hardscaping construction projects with a strong understanding of masonry techniques. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and construction plans for outdoor installations. Skilled in using hand tools such as trowels, chisels, levels, saws; power tools including drills and saws; and heavy equipment like compactors or mini-excavators. Knowledge of building materials such as concrete pavers, bricks, stone veneer, stucco, plastering materials, and masonry units. Ability to operate equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols on site. Outdoor work experience with a focus on remodeling or landscaping projects preferred.
