In this role, you will be responsible for safely dismantling structures, preparing sites for new construction, and ensuring all demolition activities adhere to safety standards and project specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction processes, technical skills in operating various tools and equipment, and the ability to work efficiently in dynamic environments. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while developing expertise across multiple facets of construction and demolition.

Responsibilities Safely execute demolition activities on various structures, including buildings, walls, and fixtures, following established safety protocols. Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, bulldozers, and cranes to facilitate efficient demolition processes. Use hand tools and power tools for precise dismantling, including cutting, breaking, and removing materials. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine demolition scope and methods. Manage debris removal and site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment. Assist with site preparation tasks such as concrete breaking, masonry removal, and material fabrication. Support other construction activities including framing, carpentry, roofing, or installation tasks as needed. Conduct inspections of structures prior to demolition to identify hazards or special considerations. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and inspectors to ensure compliance with project specifications. Maintain equipment in good working order through routine inspections and basic repairs. Requirements Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on demolition activities. Familiarity with construction management principles and estimating processes. Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical drawings relevant to demolition projects. Hands-on experience operating heavy machinery and power tools safely. Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, and restoration work. Ability to read technical schematics related to structural components or systems. Experience with construction inspection procedures and safety regulations. Skills in using hand tools such as hammers, chisels, saws, caulking guns, and plastering tools. Knowledge of construction materials including stucco, hardscape elements, glass installation components, cabinetry installation techniques, framing carpentry methods, door hanging procedures, flooring installation practices, tile laying techniques, welding basics, concrete finishing methods, masonry work standards, remodeling processes, fabrication techniques for various materials. Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform strenuous tasks in outdoor environments. Valid certifications or licenses related to heavy equipment operation are preferred but not mandatory.
