Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Stucco Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in stucco application, repair, and finishing for both residential and commercial projects. This role requires hands-on experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently while upholding safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for stucco application, including cleaning, sanding, applying bonding agents, and installing lath or wire mesh. Mix and apply stucco, plaster, or cement-based coatings to interior and exterior walls, ceilings, and other surfaces. Apply multiple coats (scratch, brown, finish) ensuring even coverage, durability, and smooth or textured finishes as specified. Perform stucco patching, repairs, and maintenance on existing structures. Operate tools and equipment such as trowels, hawks, floats, sprayers, and scaffolding. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine stucco materials and application techniques. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to OSHA and company safety guidelines. Collaborate with supervisors, contractors, and other construction professionals to complete projects on time and within budget. Inspect completed work for quality, uniformity, and adherence to project requirements. Qualifications & Skills Proven experience as a stucco worker, plasterer, or similar construction role. Knowledge of stucco materials, application methods, and curing techniques. Ability to create smooth, textured, or decorative finishes as required. Strong physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Comfort working at heights and on scaffolding. Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship. Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and time-management skills. Preferred 3+ years of hands-on stucco experience. Familiarity with EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems). Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
