Overview Join our dynamic team as a Foundation Repair and Construction Specialist, where you will play a vital role in restoring and strengthening building foundations through expert repair and construction techniques. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction projects, utilizing your skills in building and foundation systems to deliver safe, durable, and high-quality results. Duties Perform foundation repairs, including underpinning, piering, and stabilization using specialized tools and heavy equipment. Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and blueprints to accurately execute foundation and structural work. Conduct thorough inspections of existing structures to identify issues related to settling, cracking, or water damage, then develop effective repair strategies. Install and repair building materials such as concrete, stucco, caulking, trim carpentry, and hardscape features to enhance structural integrity. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA standards. Collaborate with project managers to estimate costs, prepare construction estimates, and manage project timelines efficiently. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and client specifications through diligent construction inspection. Assist with outdoor work activities including landscaping, window installation, flooring installation, tile laying, cabinet installation, plastering, and electrical or plumbing upgrades as needed. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a focus on foundation repair or related building projects. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and construction plans. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation. Knowledge of building materials installation such as stucco, caulking, trim carpentry, flooring, tile laying, and hardscape features. Experience in outdoor work environments across various construction projects. Strong understanding of safety protocols and adherence to OSHA standards during all phases of construction. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Electrical experience or plumbing knowledge is a plus for integrated repair solutions.
