We are seeking a reliable and skilled Masonry Worker to join our construction team. In this role, you will work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, with a strong focus on chimney construction, repair, and restoration. The ideal candidate has hands-on masonry experience, comfortable working at heights (roof work), and a commitment to quality craftsmanship and job-site safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Chimney Repair & Construction:

Build, repair, rebuild, and repoint brick, stone, and block chimneys.

Flue & Crown Maintenance:

Install, repair, or replace concrete chimney crowns, flue liners, rain caps, and spark arrestors.

Waterproofing & Flashing:

Apply masonry sealants and install or inspect metal flashing around chimney bases to prevent water leaks.

Roof Work & Heights:

Safely work on rooftops, staging, ladders, and scaffolding to access chimneys and upper masonry features.

General Masonry:

Mix mortar, lay brick/block, perform tuckpointing, and execute restoration or demolition work as needed.

Blueprint & Specification Reading:

Follow project specifications, measurements, and structural guidelines accurately.

Transport & Setup:

Safely operate company vehicles and haul necessary equipment, materials, and tools to and from job sites.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Driver's License:

Must possess a valid driver's license with a reliable driving record.

Masonry Experience:

Proven experience in bricklaying, stone masonry, concrete work, or chimney repair.

Roof Work Comfort:

Comfortable working at heights on steep roofs, scaffolding, and ladders in varying weather conditions.

Bilingual Advantage:

Proficiency in Spanish is strongly preferred / a major plus.

Physical Fitness:

Ability to lift heavy materials (50+ lbs), stand, bend, and perform manual labor throughout the workday.

Safety Knowledge:
