Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Carpentry and Masonry Specialist to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry and masonry tasks that bring construction projects to life, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to building durable structures, restoring existing facilities, and delivering exceptional results on time. Duties Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry and masonry tasks. Construct, install, repair, and restore structures using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment. Perform concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work including bricklaying, stucco application, and stonework. Install doors, windows, cabinets, trim carpentry elements, glass panels, and flooring with precision. Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations. Manage construction site activities such as scaffolding setup, roofing installation, caulking, plastering, and restoration projects. Operate heavy machinery safely for excavation, lifting, or material transport as needed. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics accurately to guide project execution. Collaborate with project managers on construction estimating and managing materials using tools like Bluebeam software. Ensure quality control during fabrication processes such as framing, tile laying, welding, and concrete finishing. Experience Proven experience in construction site environments with a focus on carpentry and masonry disciplines. Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., hammers, saws), power tools (e.g., drills, grinders), and heavy equipment operation. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction management principles. Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and inspection procedures. Experience working on restoration projects or hardscape installations is a plus. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems integration related to carpentry/masonry work is advantageous.
