Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Carpentry and Masonry Specialist to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry and masonry tasks across various construction projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of construction projects, including remodeling, restoration, and new building initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, operate heavy equipment, and bring architectural visions to life through precise craftsmanship. Duties Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute carpentry and masonry tasks. Construct, install, repair, and finish structures such as walls, floors, ceilings, and facades using hand tools and power tools. Perform window installation, door hanging, cabinet installation, and trim carpentry with precision. Execute concrete forming, finishing, plastering, stucco application, and masonry work including bricklaying and stonework. Operate heavy equipment safely for excavation, lifting, or material transport as needed on construction sites. Follow detailed construction plans and schematics to ensure project specifications are met efficiently. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures throughout outdoor work activities. Requirements Proven experience in building construction with a strong background in carpentry and masonry disciplines. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with ease. Knowledge of construction management practices including estimating and inspection processes. Familiarity with building materials installation such as flooring, tile laying, roofing materials, glass installation, caulking, and roofing systems. Experience working on construction projects or similar outdoor environments. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to construction site operations.
