Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic maintenance team as a Maintenance Painter, where you will play a vital role in enhancing and preserving the appearance and integrity of various facilities. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to commercial refurbishments, utilizing your painting expertise and construction knowledge. We are looking for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality results that stand the test of time. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality Execute residential and commercial painting projects using hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and scaffolding when necessary Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately determine project scope and specifications Perform restoration work including stucco application, masonry repairs, drywall finishing, and renovation tasks Install fixtures, trim carpentry, frame carpentry, and perform basic carpentry repairs to support overall project completion Apply industrial and construction painting techniques on various surfaces such as concrete, masonry, steel structures, and stucco walls Utilize construction estimating skills to assess project requirements and ensure timely completion within scope Qualifications Proven experience in residential and commercial painting with a strong understanding of color theory and surface preparation techniques Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, welding equipment, and airless paint sprayers Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction site safety protocols Familiarity with construction estimating, renovation processes, drywall finishing, caulking, plastering, masonry, framing, and restoration projects Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimates Hands-on experience with fixture installation, remodeling projects, concrete finishing, masonry work, and handyman tasks is highly desirable Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately We are committed to fostering a vibrant work environment where your skills can flourish.
