Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hardscaper to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining durable outdoor hardscape features that enhance the beauty and functionality of residential and commercial landscapes. Your expertise will help bring outdoor visions to life, creating inviting patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other stone or concrete structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity for hands-on work with a variety of construction materials and techniques, contributing directly to high-quality landscape projects that transform outdoor spaces. Responsibilities Install and construct hardscape elements such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, fire pits, and decorative stone features using appropriate tools and techniques. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure precise execution of design specifications. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to prepare sites, pour concrete, lay bricks or pavers, and complete masonry work. Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications throughout each phase of construction. Coordinate with team members and project managers to schedule work efficiently and meet project deadlines. Utilize construction estimating skills to assess material needs and assist in procurement processes. Conduct quality control checks on completed work, including concrete finishing, masonry details, and surface leveling. Requirements Proven experience in hardscape installation or related construction fields with a strong understanding of masonry, concrete forming, and landscaping techniques. Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction site management. Familiarity with a broad range of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation relevant to outdoor construction projects. Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems (for integrated features), roofing considerations, and restoration processes is a plus. Ability to perform detailed craftsmanship including caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, tile laying, framing carpentry, drywall installation, and glass or cabinet installation. Experience working on construction sites with safety awareness and adherence to protocols. Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and understanding project plans. Physical ability to perform demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, bending, kneeling, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
