Responsibilities Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Use hand tools and power tools such as brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, and scaffolding to apply paint, stain, or protective coatings on interior and exterior surfaces Read blueprints and schematics to accurately determine project scope, color schemes based on color theory principles, and technical specifications for both residential and commercial projects Perform trim carpentry, drywall finishing, stucco application, masonry work, and fixture installation as needed during renovation or remodeling projects Execute specialized painting tasks including industrial painting, restoration work, concrete finishing, welding touch-ups, and masonry sealing to meet project requirements Apply caulking and sealants around windows, doors, trims, and joints to ensure weatherproofing and durability Maintain safety standards at construction sites by following protocols for working at heights, handling hazardous materials like stucco or industrial coatings, and operating machinery safely Experience Proven experience in construction painting across residential, commercial, industrial, or renovation projects with a strong understanding of construction site practices Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for detailed finish work involving trim carpentry, plastering, masonry, or concrete finishing Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for project planning and execution Knowledge of color theory principles for effective color matching and aesthetic consistency in interior spaces Familiarity with construction estimating processes to assess project scope and material needs Experience with maintenance work including fixture installation and general handyman tasks is a plus Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations necessary during preparation and application processes Join us if you're passionate about transforming spaces with precision craftsmanship!
